About: The last four years, in partnership with the PTA, we have had very successful fundraising efforts. We have raised over $55,000 to make our school a better place for our students. Funds have gone towards playground equipment, a Gaga Pit, a new rock wall in the gym, music room updates, and a skateboarding unit for students. Funds also go towards smaller PTA projects throughout the year, such as field trips and events for our families.
This year, we are raising funds for the PTA to help classroom teachers build/update classroom libraries, provide flexible seating, offer sensory materials for students, and allow teachers to update their learning environment for the students! We are trying to encourage students to complete at least 40 Random Acts of Kindness in two weeks! |
Effort Incentives:
There are a few effort incentives for the Kindness Challenge:
When a student does 10 RAOK’s, they will receive a starburst for the wall and some Starburst candy.
When a student does 20 RAOK’s they will receive a starburst for the wall and a pencil.
When a student does 30 RAOK’s they will receive a starburst for the wall and a water bottle sticker.
When a student does 40 RAOK’s they will receive a starburst for the wall and an Valders keychain.
That is the end of the big effort incentives, but for every 10 more RAOK’s they can put another starburst on the wall.

Instead of the traditional fundraising levels, we will be having a raffle each day for our 10 days of giveaways. See below for a list of the dates and giveaways.

**The top five fundraisers will be celebrated at an assembly at the end of the Kindness Challenge. They will have the opportunity to toss a pie in the face of a teacher at the assembly!
